The annual Michigan Rubber Group Golf Outing is coming soon!  Forest Akers Golf Club at Michigan State University has welcomed us back and the date is set for Thursday, 28 May 2026.  Please, add this date to your calendar and join us for a great day in central Michigan!

Golf:  We’re back at Forest Akers West Course.  Check-in will be 7:30-8:30AM at the Golf Club.  As usual, plan on a shotgun start at 9:00AM, so be at your golf cart by 8:45AM.  The event will be a scramble format.  Please see the 2026 Golf Registration Form on the MRG website for details.  (www.michiganrubbergroup.com)

Accommodations:  Candlewood Suites Hotel is conveniently located on-site and they have blocked 10 Studio rooms for an amazing rate of $99.00 per room.  You are asked to confirm your rooms by personally calling (517-351-8181 x412) and identifying yourself as a member of the MRG group no later than 08 May 2026. 

Included:  We are offering breakfast sandwich option at registration and a full gathering lunch service, but will need to confirm your attendance for preparation.  Each participant will receive a keepsake that probably won’t improve your golf score, but you might find it useful.  Additionally, there will be gift card prizes for the skill holes and we will run a 50/50 raffle (please bring cash). 

Corporate Donations:  Corporate sponsors are appreciated to balance expenses and are always appreciated! 

Hole Sponsorship:  $75 will get your company sign placed at a tee box.  Please share your corporate logo with Tim Dickerson. 

Membership: We encourage membership and dutifully ask that one person from each foursome be a MRG delegate in good standing.  Annual dues are a whopping $15.00 per member.  Please include your dues with this registration if your MRG membership is not current.

How to register: You can register your team by requesting and completing the registration form or by following the Stripe payment link.  The payment registration link is preferable and strongly recommended.   Make sure you consider each category, as you would if filling out the form manually.  Please provide the names and email addresses of all the golfers on your team, so we can assign golf carts and contact everybody if necessary.
